ANTHONY LACAVERA, chairman

Anthony Lacavera became chairman of Canada Payphone Corporation (CPC) in 2004. As President and CEO of Globalive Communications, CPC’s parent company, Tony continues to make significant inroads in the telecommunications industry. In 2004, Globalive was named the Fastest Growing Company in Canada as part of the 16th annual PROFIT 100. Under Tony’s leadership, Globalive has emerged as Canada’s leading independent telecom service provider with 6 products spanning a variety of telecom market niches. Tony is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Computer Engineering program.

ANDRÉ CÔTÉ, Vice President, Business Development

André has over 18 years experience in the computer and telecommunication industry. Prior to joining Canada Payphone, André was at Bombardier Capital and has held many senior management positions at companies such as Control Date, Gould Electronics, AT&T, and NCR.

BRICE SCHESCHUK, CA chief financial officer

Brice has 10 years of senior financial experience in the telecommunications, technology, media and financial industries. Prior to joining Canada Payphone, Brice was the Corporate Controller at Leitch Technology Corporation, a TSX listed manufacturer of hardware and software for the professional video market. Brice received a BComm Honors Finance degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and earned his Canadian Chartered Accountant designation while working for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

EZIO D'ONOFRIO, chief operating officer

Ezio has 13 years experience in the telecommunications industry with such companies as Rogers Cable in Toronto, and Le Groupe Videotron, where he was involved in the start-up of their cable TV/telephony/internet network in London, England. As COO, Ezio oversees the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Network Engineering departments. Prior to joining Canada Payphone, Ezio was the Director of Operations managing budget and Capital expenditures for the Toronto and Vancouver fiber optic networks of a private Canadian voice, video and data provider.

PRAKASH GUNASINGHAM, director of finance & business development

Prakash gained significant high tech startup experience working for 407 ETR prior to joining Canada Payphone. Prakash’s strong analytical skills and reporting abilities provide Canada Payphone with clear, concise financial information to support decision-making. His in-depth knowledge of Canada Payphone’s business activities allows him to carry out feasibility tests to determine the viability of new business developments. Prakash is a professional accountant who holds a CGA designation.
